I am curious when did the isopod hobby start. For some reason I thought it really began and took off over the past 5 yrs.  What were some of the orginal morphs?  I assume it all started in the UK?

Hello ,   I have mixed sexes of Pseudomops septentrionalis, they are fun colorful roaches , adults are somewhat short lived but throw out more than 200 nymphs at a time. They love carrots and apples, as well as decaying wood and leaves.   I'm looking to trade only for other roach species...

Hello , I will be rehousing all my isopods and springtails from shoe box to a sweater box very soon. There are two sizes of sweater box , one size is deeper than the other. My question is, will isopods and springtail use the dept as well as the surface area ?

I go hiking and photographing herps just about every weekend. It's been raining and humid here this last month and looks like a wet month this month as well.... I've flip rocks and logs off the trails and I find no isopods. Obviously I'm doing it wrong? I would love some tips on how to collect...

Do Rhino Roaches eat other leaves other than Eucalyptus ? Do they eat anything else other than leaves, ie. veggies/fruits , dried dog/cat food ? If all they eat is Eucalyptus then I'll have to order them online by the lbs... LOL
