  • Caught four Chorisoneura about two weeks ago in pin needles with a lot of white fungus with Parcobatta. I am keeping the seven or so Parcoblatta to see what they become. From that area I caught mostly the maybe caudelli and a few P. virginica.

My Shelfordella lateralis outside in a tub went through freezing or close to freezing (32F) last night. They are fine.

Found a male of what looks like like Phileurus. His head was crushed. I guess he died last night.

My I. deropeltiformis died! I only found two living out of the many I had from that one female. Also in the same container there were two Parcoblatta, one Pycnoscelus femapterus and nigra. They all died except the femapterus which was weak. I added three pieces of rotting red oak logs and they have grown green mold. I think the roaches might have eaten it... The isopods have been dead the longest (they smell bad and are rotting). The sprintails that were in there seem fine. The two...

I saw P. bolliana hatch at about 4:00 this afternoon. I think the ootheca they were bunched around was the ootheca they came from. The ootheca looks like the P. virginica oothecae....

Last night I checked and the male Dorcus brevis is dead. Got pictures of mating with female. Female laid eggs before I saw them mate. Possible mated multiple times.

Ok, I will do that. 저는한국말모타니까 제송합니다. 한국에영어마니섰습니다. 더베우고싶어써책을읽고있습니다. Our family is interesting or weird I guess. I had many friends in South Korea even though I could not speak well. I do not know very many words.

Oops, forgot I already told you all this lol.

    P. uhleriana hatched. Could have hatched yesterday because I did not check. Dark brown color.

The I. deropeltiformis female died today. Maybe fungus or old age. There was mold on the bread I fed her but it did not seem to hurt her. The Chorisoneura laid an ootheca yesterday and one today. Both glued to the side of the container.

Just caught a what I think is P. caudelli, the maybe caudelli not something diferent. I found him around our back porch light.

I let go the female rhino beetle at about 9:00 this evening. I got a video and pictures of her. :)

Saw I. deropeltiformis female laying ootheca at 10:45 yesterday morning and today at 11:45 I saw no ootheca so she dropped it.
