@HisserdudeLook at what you did, this is all your fault. In all seriousness I caught this poor sucker. It was really tiny, and had a shrunken abdomen. You can somewhat see how shrunk it was. When I found it, I thought it was a different species of roach until I saw the shoulder patches...

Speaking of babies....

Well we got babies boiz! Suriname babies to be precise.

So male, female, it? @Hisserdude Caught this rather large nymph, and figured it would be hypocrisy not to keep one or two americana, and since now the Australian roaches out number the US roaches, peace should be maintained.

During my short few weeks here I've noticed something peculiar. I've never once seen a Periplaneta australasiae adult, only nymphs, and my most productive spots to catch said nymphs are by palm trees, so this has me wondering, are the adults more arboreal than the nymphs are? (Obviously they...

You know what? Egg butt.

It was a very successful collection trip yesterday, it seems after rain roaches become more active. Ignore the American roach on the bottom left. And focus on the two new additions. :D

Well added a bit more material for the egg laying roaches to have a slim chance of avoiding the ravenous Surinames. One of Surinames was already inspecting it however, this nymph maybe as large or larger than the adults. The female American and Australian roaches will have to be smart.
