New Dairy Cow isopod owner, any help accepted

Hello! A few days ago I received a small colony (10-14) of dairy cow isopods. This is my first time owning any bugs, so I’m nervous on whether or not I’m doing this right. I have a few leaves and some wood for hiding, along with a calcium block and some food sprinkled in. The isopods seem to be hiding pretty much all the time and burying. Here’s my setup. Is the soil moist enough? Is moss needed? Will they be less shy if they multiply? Thank you!

Looks good. I can't tell on the moisture so you can just keep one end or corner pretty wet and let the other dry out so they can self-regulate. Yes, it often takes a good number to get them out in the open all the time.
