i've seen that Mantisfan and Hisserdude both keep losing members of a particular colony, especially Mantisfan from 280 down to 50.  I don't know if this is the right thing to do for them, but when I have dying bugs that I want to save I try to wash them down with a warm wet cloth.  In case they were sprayed I'm hoping it will get the insecticide off.  I also tried it on a German who I let freeze to death hoping I would warm her up, but not.  I know it sounds lame, but hoping I can be of help.
