I'm trying this contraption out, with burlap fit to it using zip ties. I could just buy cork or something but oh well.

I was wondering if there would be a benefit to adding leaves when making flake soil.  Has anyone done that? Maybe crumple up the leaves or even put them through the wife's food processor haha then in to the next batch of flake soil.

Set up my 90 gallon aquarium again for roaches. I'm debating moving the Blaberus sp. Honduras in here or I may put the bark roaches in there when I get them. I'd really like to put the Psuedoglomerus magnifica in there but those guys climb too well and I'd be stressed over them escaping. There...

Found these $5 Walmart fans thinking that they'd up ventilation but they turned out to be pretty loud. They move enough air for me at least.

Got around to starting the vertical gravity assisted wing dropper for my Blaberus sp. Honduras. Still need to make it so it'll stand up though.

I read that burlap is made of jute plants. Anyway, I was considering using it to make something for my Blaberus sp. Honduras to climb on so they can molt better and possibly get moisture from when I spray. Also I want to get some bark roaches this year and thought it might work for them as well...

I have two females. Id be willing to send one, possibly both, or receive a male and divide up the plings. ❤️❤️❤️

Tonight I fed my scorpions. What I do is cut off the heads of the roach and put it in with the scorpions.  A couple minutes after losing its head one of the roaches gave birth.  I wonder if it was stress induced? It wasn't being eaten yet. The roach in question was a Rhyparobia cf. capelloi...

I'm asking for any and all ideas on how to keep a couple colonies if, say, one chose to live full time in a van. Specifically how to keep correct temps with good ventilation:) I often day dream of leaving behind conventional housing. Thoughts?

Last night I had a dream that I was holding a roach with the size of the rhino but colored like the metallic green magnifica.  I just remember smiling in the dream. Anybody else had roach dreams?

I caught it yesterday trying to flip back over and helped it out. Scary! I'm thankful (Happy Thanksgiving!) it is still running around today. The substrate is only a cm or two deep. I see them getting in top of each other at times. I'm considering separating them. Thoughts?
