URGENT! Moving in less than 24 hours.

@Hisserdude @Cariblatta lutea As the title says I'm moving very shortly, I'm going to bring the roaches with me, my question, is mixing all three species in a container going to work, I'm planning on overnight shipping. I know it's not professional but I'm short on time and containers. Prompt...

    Male, female or it?

So male, female, it? @Hisserdude Caught this rather large nymph, and figured it would be hypocrisy not to keep one or two americana, and since now the Australian roaches out number the US roaches, peace should be maintained.

    Periplaneta australasiae question.

During my short few weeks here I've noticed something peculiar. I've never once seen a Periplaneta australasiae adult, only nymphs, and my most productive spots to catch said nymphs are by palm trees, so this has me wondering, are the adults more arboreal than the nymphs are? (Obviously they...

Well guys no more pics from me.

Due to the exceedingly small, stingy, and inconveniently small, did I also mention, small, size limit, and storage space, I can no longer post any pictures, which is unfortunate, especially since picture threads are more fun than text. (And I have baby roaches on the way... @Peter...

    What is my roach doing?

My adult roach is behaving oddly, she/he/it positions itself at and angle and appears to be gazing at the top, every few minutes she will twitch her/his/it's body as if something touched it, but nothing was there, it carried on this behavior for a few minutes, then casually went about...

    Roach behavior question.

Are some roaches generally happier in small/large "family" groups composing of roaches of different ages rather than all similarly aged animals? I ask because after adding an adult American roach into the enclosure (I caught the thing in the house) ALL the nymphs immediately changed there...

    These are amazing

    Antenna damage.

Due to a collection mishap I managed to sever a good portion of a new roaches antennae and it's currently breathing heavily and not moving. Will it survive, or should I end it's misery? I feel bad for it honestly.  Well it just bolted so it may not be a total loss.

    Just curious.

What do you guys think was wrong with this roach? Was it physically damaged in some way, or merely could not last in a house? I found it in my house a week ago, it barely tried to run, after hours of trying to rehab it, it not so unpredictablely passed away. Now compared to a presumably...

    Collecting Roaches

So what methods do people use to collect wild caught specimens? Specifically using traps? Designs and methods?  I generally just flip promising objects but recently started baiting them with dog food and orange slices to try and lure different species to easy locations for capture. To be...

    Pycnoscelus surinamensis colony.

It's been a very long while since I posted here. Anyways here is my first roach colony. Due to the exceedingly small photo upload size restrictions this is the only way I can show you detailed pics. http://arachnoboards.com/threads/introducing.294323/ I can't even upload my smallest pics. :P

    The Experiment

I woke up two of my dominulas for a twofold experiment. First of all I want to see if their hibernation period can be shortened without adverse affects on the wasps. Secondly I want to test out dominulas invasive nature and adaptability. The materials I used were 1 abandoned polistes...
