    Self controllong populations...

I have noticed over the last year that Phoetalia pallida, int. al. have a tendency to control their population to a point where they stop breeding totally, when the populations reach a certain point, regardless of food or heating levels. My research is ongoing, and I will try to ascertain the...

    E. chopardi

My E. chopardi are really slow breeders, and I was wondering what the ideal set up is? My various colonies are all on a completely dry set up, and the E. chopardi has a frass substrate, water gel, fruit and ground pellets. They live on a egg tray tower with good ventilation. Any ideas?

I have colonies of G. portentosa and E. chopardi and believe some of each has accidently made its way into the others bin. :P What are the differing features, please? Some have lighter colours and others look too long or too wide to be that specific species, so I'd like to sort them out one...

    Cold affects eating...(as we know)

We had a large drop in temps overnight, and I happened to feed my roaches at the same time. This morning I looked in on the G. portentosa colony, and found that they had made no noticeable inroads into the food I had supplied. Normally they would have consumed 20-40% overnight, and it was...
