    I don't trust myself.

I collected what I assume to be a white Porcellio lavis from southern California near Point Mugu state park. I have produced offspring but I am worried that I won't be able to keep them at the front of my mind and keep picking out the wild types they may throw. If anyone is interested in working...

    Substrates for Pycnoscelus nigra

Honestly I've used them to breakup compacted and hydrophobic potting soil.(The soil worked a lot better afterwards, roaches were removed before use.)

    Schultesia lampyridiformis not eating

Makes sense, I was just somewhat concerned when the Perisphaerus pygmaeus ate their food so quickly and the firefly mimic roaches seemingly didn't touch their food. This was a factor I hadn't even considered many thanks.

    Schultesia lampyridiformis not eating

I recently obtained a starter colony of schultesua lampyridiformis (firefly mimic cockroaches) and they seemingly won't eat. What have people had success feeding these lovely creatures? For context I got some Perisphaerus pygmaeus at the same time and they have cleaned their plate. I feed...

    Genral care of termite species?

I recently collected some termites from a wild area near my home I assume they are Reticulitermes hesperus but am unsure. (I will post some images for potential ID.) What is the genral care of termites like? Are they even worth keeping and do they require a queen to keep the colony going? From...

They would be great additions to the hobby. Many of them look like wasp mimics, very punk rock.

I find pseudomops septentrionalis to be very pleasant in form and color. I also just think that genus psudomops has some great roaches overall.

They are in there with a large group of panda kings and about 10 henschoutedenia flexivitta as well.

    nocticola vagus and larger invertebrates

I hope you get some males but also I'm worried that may make them lose some of their appeal. As dont the males have wings?

Many thanks that gives me an idea of where to look. Did you find yours just in a hardwood or mixed forest?

    Parcoblatta perfered microclimate.

I hope to find some parcoblatta near where I live in Utah what kind of microclimate/microbiome should I be looking in? Better yet is there hope for me to find them here or is it to... Utah? I've seen inat observations farther north than Salt Lake City so I am holding out hope.

Hello, my name is Robby I keep many roaches, I don't have a list and that seems like unnecessary work for me currently (maybe I'll make one on my next feeding day). I find the form of cockroaches quite pleasant to the eye, so I primarily keep them as pets. I love to try and find the balance...

    nocticola vagus and larger invertebrates

Here is one in one of my tarantula enclosures. I do not feed them so hopefully they are eating what the trantula does not.

    nocticola vagus and larger invertebrates

I am very fond of the Nocticola vagus (is this the correct name?) I enjoy how they have seemingly spread themselves to almost all of my terrariums and invertebrate enclosures. I initially got my culture from Kyle because I thought they were so neat. They were my 3rd species of cockroach and 5th...
