Advice? Polyphaga aegyptiaca

Need some advice! Having a difficult time with this species. Bedding :cypress/vermiculite/sand a couple oak leaves dry and loose. Fruits,veggies,fish food or dog food. water crystals. Had a couple die, they're laying ooths. They just don't seem to be doing well. Hope I've been on the right track :blink:

Thats how some adults I bought were like awhile back. I still have a nymph thriving and we are keeping them almost the same. I dont have sand in the container but everything else I do.
