Anyone try these barriers?

I've been looking for different barriers for my lobsters and red headed roaches and Vaseline doesn't seem to do the trick for me. Has anyone tried the teflon spray, silicone grease or the teflon tape?

 
I've tried teflon tape and it did not work very well. Vaseline has worked for every species of climber I have except the red-heads. I suggest an enclosure with a locking lid for those. I use a 3 gallon bucket for mine.

I've never used this stuff myself, but it is used to keep ants contained so I'm sure it would work great.
