Breeding bigger Hissers

Hi,

I have about 50 mixed size hissers at my 10 gallon glass tank at home. I give them dry dog food mainly, and occasional fresh vegitables, and fresh fruits. Does anyone know any recipe to make them grow really big? What is the biggest hisser of yours?
