can cat flea med harm hissing cockroaches?

this is definitely a very silly, paranoid post.. but i just care a lot about these cockroaches. my two cats have to have flea medicine put on the back of their neck monthly, it smells very skunk-y and in return makes them and everything they lie on smell like it too. since lingering chemical odors can harm roaches, does anyone know if this is something that can too? i haven’t gotten any more yet since the passing of my old ones, but i need to make sure this is safe, since i’m purchasing more soon.

Kind of interested in this as well, just to be safe. I have used the spot on treatment during the time I've had inverts which is mostly tarantulas, and I don't handle hardly at all. I'd be handling my roaches way more lol. So far I've not had any problems, as long as I wash hands prior to handling or feeding.
