Cold affects eating...(as we know)

We had a large drop in temps overnight, and I happened to feed my roaches at the same time.

This morning I looked in on the G. portentosa colony, and found that they had made no noticeable inroads into the food I had supplied. Normally they would have consumed 20-40% overnight, and it was interesting to note the difference, due only to a drop in temps... B)

My temps have been in the high 50's at night and 80's during the day... x.x

Never measured it, but around 12 degrees, centigrade.

Not very cold, but a drop of at least 8 degrees in 24 hours...
