Just received a call from Dexter, I emailed them with a question and he couldn't reply for some reason. I appreciate the effort made to answer the question even though I was not ordering from them. They seem to be spot on with costumer service and animal quality despite older reviews. Glad to see everything got better with them.

I look forward to my first purchase with them.

Overall: 9/10

I received my order very swiftly and the majority of the roaches were alive and well. There were some crowding issues, but nothing super major. I have 2 A. tesselata nymphs in a "recovery" tank to see if they bounce back, and some of the B. craniifer were crushed, but overall I am pleased with the responsiveness of this seller and their product. They sent me some HUGE A.tesselata nymphs!

 
I lost a couple more A. tess nymphs and B. craniifer over night, but all of the rest of them seem perky. I know sometimes the A. tess can just kinda drop for no discernible reason, especially after shipping.

Ordered some hissing roaches. I put in a special order and got exactly what I wanted! The roaches were all alive and healthy, price was very fair, and shipping was very quick. Nothing bad to say at all!

 
Two transactions to report on. :)

The first was a relatively small order that took advantage of their summer sale. I was not expecting any overcount for what I ordered, but they did send extras. I was so excited! The roaches were all alive and active and looked great right from the box. Full disclosure - I lost one P. Vanwaerebecki about two weeks after it arrived, but I'm convinced it was something in my enclosure rather than something wrong with the roach, as I had another species from another vendor die in that same tank. (I have since tossed the whole thing for safety.) I absolutely love DD's packaging method and also that they included food for everything; there was even a carrot for the big hissers!

A few days later I also had the occasion to do a trade with them. Dexter was extremely generous, which was a surprise since I'm still new around here and I've only ordered from him once. I cannot begin to express how grateful and how thrilled I am about the trade. :) I've now got all the species I've been dreaming about!

DoubleD's will get recommended to anyone I know who wants to order roaches or other pet bugs. I even have their card in my purse in case I run into anyone who is curious. :) If I ever have need to order again in the future, they will be my first choice.

 
I had a great first order from them with everything arriving in top shape. I just put a second order in with them tonight and am hoping for a repeat experience. I have been out of keeping roaches for almost ten years and am just now getting back into them.

Thanks DoubleD's and this forum for helping me dive back in.
