This year for our science club, I'm trying to pull together some people with snakes and etc from the area for a Halloween event at our school. Included in this, I'm trying to get all the stereotypical creepy crawlies: Scorpions, Snakes, Tarantulas, Centipedes, Roaches etc. Any good arguments to help me convince the club directors to set this up?

 
As long as they arent dangerous why not have a hands on exhibit, with your supervision to make sure no animals are harmed? Just make sure to bring disinfectant people most likely will want to wash their hands after.

You could also have information about each species for them to read and learn.
