Roaches:
Blaptica Dubia - The Cadillac of roaches. This incredibly benign and easy to care for species is perhaps the best all around feeder insect available. Ranges in size from 1.75-2" when fully grown, and will live for approximately 18-24 months once reaching adult hood. This species provides an average breeding rate, with adult females producing roughly 20-25 new nymphs a month, and those nymphs taking 6 months to mature.

Blaberus Discoid’s - Discoid’s are a good all around roach that breeds very well. These guys share many traits with Dubias, but breed slightly faster. Size ranges from 1.6-1.8" when fully mature, and they will live 10-14 months once reaching adult hood. This species provides an above average breeding rate, with adult females producing roughly 25 new nymphs a month, and those nymphs requiring 4-5 months to mature.

Blaberus Fusca - This large roach is great for feeding the largest of animals. Beautiful markings and great breeding make this a roach for anyone. Size ranges from 2.5-3.5" when fully mature, and they will live for another 10-14 months once reaching adult hood. This species provides an above average breeding rate, with adult females producing roughly 25 new nymphs a month, and those nymphs taking 4-5 months to mature.

Byrsotria Fumigata - I’ve nicknamed these guys “little Dubia.” They exhibit all of the traits of Blaptica Dubia, but in a smaller package. These are an excellent choice for small inverts, and herps. Size ranges from 1”-1.5” when fully mature. This species provides an average breeding rate, with adult females producing roughly 20-25 new nymphs a month.
