im sk8 from california. i made this account for a problem of mine but i've decided to stay for questions, photography, etc :) as of now, i only have one hisser (g. portentosa, she's also the one in my profile picture), since the others passed. but i'm going to get more soon, and i'm also looking forward to raising a colony if i'm able to, but currently i'm not allowed. i buy from an independant reptile store, but i understand its better to buy from inside the hobby, so if anyone knows please tell me the best source and if its not too common for roaches to die in transit when bought online since i'd be pretty anxious lol.

I get anxious about purchasing during the winter months, but I have done it one or two times without problem from reputable sellers. I'm in California in the Fresno area and would definitely recommend @Hisserdude especially if you want to get more hissers. He has just about any variety available. He is in Idaho and knows what he is doing.
