Help How do I get rid of fleas without hurting my roaches?

I dont know what to do. What would be the best way to kill the fleas without effecting my roaches. My cat brought in the fleas. How do you guiys with roaches deal with fleas? The best flea products contain a hormone that prevents the fleas from molting. What should I do?

I thought the main way to prevent fleas these days is to feed your cat a flea medication so they don't like to drink its blood. That's what I do with my dog (just during the warm months).

I have put some advantage on my cat that stuff you put on their back and it kills adult fleas and eggs for a month. I dont think the stuff you put in their food kills fleas. I might have fleas loose in the house now. I am not sure how I am going to kill them in the house.
