Hisser pregnancy variation

I have 2 female hissers, same size, species, and age, both impregnated within days of eachother. One is huge and looks like it will pop, the other is larger but not noticeably pregnant even though she is as she's already rotated her ootheca. What can cause such differences? Does this mean the fatter female will give birth to more offspring, or larger sized offspring? Or is it fertility issues?

More often then not I've noticed gravid females tend to gorge on food occasionally during "pregnancy", giving the appearance of nearly bursting-only to shrink back a bit after a while . This is possibly a way to nurish the un-born young. Hope this is correct, I can't think of anything else it could be.

They both are gorging on food, but don't shrink. One is overly fat the other just fat. Guess ill have to wait for them to give birth to find the answer.
