How to get rid of Grain Mites

What are some of the best ways to get rid of grain mites? The tank that they are in is a planted vivarium, so I'm not really wanting to tear the whole thing up. Would adding isopods help? I have the dry food for the G. lurida in the tank in a flat food dish. Thanks in advance.

Yes, isopods and springtails will eat the food the grain mites are feeding on. This will decrease the grain mites reproduction.

You lay back and accept the fact that grain mites will forever be a part of your life.

But, yeah, isopods and springtails do help.

Thanks for the replies. I put some isopods in the enclosure. I'll have to get some springtails.
