Depends on the temperature greatly, but from my experience...

Portentosa- Mature at 5 months, lives for 2+ years

N. cinerea- Mature at 2.5 months, lives for 8+ months

P. pallida- Matures at 3.5 months, lives for 8+ months

Thanks, Zephyr!

Anyone else had any experience with these unusual species?

I had one HUGE female G. portentosa that lived for just over three years (and she was an adult when I got her but for how long I do not know). Seems like at around 88F G. portentosa do mature in 5-6 months, but growth depends alot on the environment (temp, food, humidity, population density...).

Thanks, guys -

I have started a little website here in South Africa, and I'd like to get my facts straight...
