They can eat them as long as there are no pesticides on them. I would get the ones at the grocery store and not something from your backyard. I've tried feeding my hissers mushrooms before, but they did not care for them.

I'd wash them off really good 'cause I'm sure whoever grew them used pesticide. It's probably required legally. When I feed my roaches apple slices, I make sure I get rid of the peel first.
