Where was it found? Country, state, etc.?Found this half inch nymph inside, already dead, unfortunately. It has us stumped! Some think oriental, but it doesn't seem uniform in color enough for that. It is one half an inch long. Thoughts?
Is is possible it's a Hemiblabera tenebricosa? They're native to Florida so that isn't terribly far away. Although my knowledge on them and what their nymphs look like is virtually nonexistent lolI asked an entomologist here, and even he wasn't totally sure from the picture, but he theorized smoky brown nymph. I feel like the coloration for that isn't quite right though.
Yeah sadly it just looks like a fuliginosa nymph with atypical coloration, doesn't make it any less pretty though!Thanks @Auz and @Hisserdude! I was secretly hoping I had stumbled across something unique.The picture doesn't really do it justice as far as the colors. It's got some really pretty red tones in it as well.
