[Hell-Spawn]

I ripped these pictures from Facebook. Is this a cockroach?

Only info given is it's from Trinidad, and photo credit to Alvin Braswell.

Yup, it's a cockroach for sure, probably something in the Epilamprinae. Beyond that, not sure.

Just throwing an idea out here, could be a species of Phoraspis. There are 14 described species in the genus, and there are a few pictures online of some species. While their coloration doesn't look like this specimen, the body shape really does, so this could easily be one of the species that hasn't been photographed yet.
