Also, I keep a spider which is in the family of Sicariidae. It is a male spider. I found it in an old paper box of my house last year.

i thought about jumping spiders as we have plenty of them but i dont know what size prey it would take and i really dont wanna go down so small to a fruit fly

I used to breed Phidippus audax, or the Bold Jumping Spider. I fed the adults small crickets, houseflies, small roaches.

The babies were very, very small however, and I had to feed them aphids and fruit flies, so it was a little bit of a hassle. Also, many

species of spider are similar to mantids in that once they reach a certain size, they need to be separated so that they don't eat each

other. This can be annoying if you've got hundreds of babies!
