I've examined the different packaging materials and techniques that people use and it seems that as long as the insect containers are escape proof, have enough holes, and are in a sturdy box marked "live animals" they do well in the mail. There have been delays an lost packages recently, and I'm currently working on a case of a package via FedEx that is missing. I contacted FedEX and they said they did not have the package. When I told the shipper about this they immediately started an investigation. The shipper included food and a source for water/moisture because occasionally packages are misplaced. Sadly My package has been in transit for about 15 days. I hope it is found for the sake of the live animals and they are helped, but reality is they may not be rescued.
