Take an Invert expedition!

Hi to all,

I have been on 2 myself and 1 with famous invert expert Hans Werner Auer from Germany, every single time species new to science were discovered, well I mean they are known to the local tribal peoples - just not to 'science' or the rest of the world.

Take a look at my tour site (been doing this since 1999) by simply Googling 'First Nations Vacations'.

Take a look at my invert beauties by Googling 'Exotic Tropicals Herpetoculture'

You can all e-mail me at damoncorrie@yahoo.com

I return to Guyana next week Thursday & will be there all November, so after this month I may only get net access infrequently - like when I go to Lethem border town near Brazil.

Best regards,

Damon

Seems overpriced for what you get. I have made similar travels for a third of the cost. However, for those who have never left home and do not know what they are doing, it can be very helpful to have another culture packaged as an "experience-in-a-box" for thier first time out. One becomes familiar with what they would know to do different next time they travel and what level of adventure they can handle.

I can bet my life you never visited Guyana, $250 would not even get you from the local airport & back to the foot of the mountains I take invert expeditions on (you'll need guides, food & permission from the tribes to enter their territory - which are off limits to outsiders - unless you are with me since I have relatives in those tribes) but I have no doubt there are other cheap destinations like the ones you've been on.

All I can do is recommend readers go to my site, click on the 'Letters from our adventurers', then use those folks own e-mail addresses (since I included them just so folks with any doubts would be able to ask those who paid for my services directly) to contact them and ask them if they thought their trips with me were overpriced for what they got.

Also check out other Guyana tour operators (none will accept a group as small as 2, and none can go where I can) on the web.

That would be the Fair & balanced thing to do
