Van Life

I'm asking for any and all ideas on how to keep a couple colonies if, say, one chose to live full time in a van.

Specifically how to keep correct temps with good ventilation

I often day dream of leaving behind conventional housing. Thoughts?

Probably a hassle to keep the bugs, but I would guess a power inverter to run heat mats/tape off the battery, a generator for when the van is off. I would think an air conditioner for the summer, we all know how hot car get and how quickly, so either the van or generator would have to be running constantly. And if the van broke down you would probably be S.O.L. and lose everything depending on location and time of year.
