whats wrong with this hisser?????

i found this on another forum.the OP was worried about it and described it as having trouble walking and looking lik it was gonna pop.eventually thats what actually happened..whats the hell happened to it?

I do believe that's a parasite. I received a hisser several years ago who looked like this. Soon after, he died and a cm-long grub emerged from his abdomen. The grub died, so I can't say what the fly looked like. Could be some kind of fungal infection too?

Never had this, but it's probably some sort of fungal infection or nematodes.

.... Could be a number of things, and the only way to know would have been to have a better examination of the roach just before and after its demise (at least for me to determine what was wrong with it).
