Where are Rhyparobia sp. "Malaysia" from?

I guess they are from Malaysia but am not sure. Are they? And is Rhyparobia sp. "Gold" mean the same roach? Thank you.

when you see the name of a location next to "sp.", that's the place where the first ones were caught, so yes, they are from Malaysia

I think they are the same than the sp. gold

Yes they are the same roach. One website wrote the name out like this Rhyparobia sp. "malaysia" (Gold Medal Roach)

Thanks. Does anybody know where else they live? Are the Rhyparobia sp. "Malaysia" native to Malaysia? I cannot find one on Blattodea.speciesfile.org that says they live in Asia. Except I think Rhyparobia madarae are introduced to South East Asia because I read that they are living throughout the tropical regions of the world, do they?

So are the Gold Medal Roaches Rhyparobia madarae? I got mine from roachcrossings. I wonder if the gold have been selectively bred from the grey Madera Roaches.
