Worm ID

Although I have no pics at the moment, I would like an ID on the worms I found today.

They range from about an inch to 4 when stretched out and were discovered under an inch or two of somewhat dry hardwood leaves. When trying to escape, they wiggled ferociously back and forth with little forward movement, and when grabbed they seem to have a looping spasm and sometimes shed the tip of their tail at the slightest touch. After this they seem to cease movement for a moment or two. There are no apparent genitalia and no apparent band either; Their mouths are clearly visible when extended. They were collected in Michigan's lower peninsula, if this helps.

Well, I got the ID from the UK worm center. They're Amenthys aggrestis, or asian giant worms.

Good garter food. :P
