Greetings!
I am happy to be aboard! I am not a complete noob to cockroaches since I worked about 12 years in the pet business. I used to have hissers to feed my tokay, but he didnt like they got out of hand and I donated them away...
I used to keep T's and scorpions but I have a 3 year old now and since my last spider died, I didn't want anymore venomous (no matter how mild) creatures. I do however want him to have an interest in bugs and insects as I do, so currently I have a small collection of Madagascar hissing cockroaches and a few dubias. The dubias will be mostly feeding a leopard frog, but I do dig them as a pet species.
anyway, I look forward to being a part of this cool community...

well almost all the other species (Germans roaches) although I personally love all roach species
