Seventh Instar
I removed the egg flats and added this hollowed out log. Plus its going to rain in there every day now.

I'd love any tips for improvement.

 
Looks awesome! As for improvements, maybe some thin slabs of bark for molting, hiding, or nibbling.

 
I think I can do that. Does anyone ever use long fibered sphagnum moss for them to crawl in and on?
Sphagnum moss is an excellent substrate addition; it lightens and aerates, and I've seen my Pseudomops dig tunnels around strands of it. Definitely add some.

I've got some old dead pine tree bark or I can go buy some cork bark like at a reptile store. Are either of these suitable?

 
I think the cork bark would be preferred by the roaches. Unless the pine doesn't smell or have resin anymore, in which case they'd be fine with it?
