You don't happen to find wild vinegaroons do you? I'm looking for a midsized male M. giganteus.

Some, but probably not the types of grasshoppers hobbyists are looking for. For roaches, pretty much just Arenivaga  tonkawa and normal pests is what I've seen so far.

No bulky/large or odd ones? I'm trying to culture Melanoplus differentialis right now so my standards aren't that high. lol

Dang, that's a shame. :(

Ooh, those are actually quite intriguing, both in appearance (I love ones with bulky, rock-like appearances) and egg incubation. :)  Any idea on what species you are seeing?
Band wing grasshopper breeding is typically pretty challenging because males seem to need an area to display for females. Not saying it isn't possible, just a challenge! There may be some species that don't necessarily need a large display area too (Encoptolophus sordidus, Chortophaga viridifasciata, basically any species with a short/low crepitation flight). Arphia Spharagemon, and Trimerotropis would be tough. Don't know about Psinidia, Pardolophora (probably not), or Hippiscus. I'm just naming various Illinois genera of Oedipodinae, so I'm probably reaching the rambling point lol  :P  I think Trimerotropis saxatilis is probably the prettiest of the IL bandies, though it's personal preference.

Probably X. corralipes
The bandie you sent me is definitely X. corralipes if we're thinking the same species. Definitely a cool one!
