I can get rhino roaches if anyone is interested in any of these they are wild caught from Australia, these are not US or Europe stock, it may take time to import them, payment must be made in full before I ship them, I will take payment plans as well, keep in mind if you make payments they are non refundable so if you invest $100 in a pair and back out of the deal I keep your payment, this may seam rude, but if you back out of a deal you are wasting my time and I could of had them sold off to another roach keeper.

(Macropanesthia rhinoceros) Rhino cockroach pairs @ $350 each

1 nymph @ $110

2+ nymphs @ $100

5+ nymphs @ $90

•(Panesthia angustipennis cognata) Red back roach pairs @ $60 each

•(Panesthia antennata brachypterous) pairs @ $60

I may consider trades for these but only for other rare roaches

Juts out of curiosity, why are you charging a little more for WC individuals, which can be sickly or riddled with parasites, than what most people charge for CB individuals now?

If it's because the person selling them to you is charging high prices, I'd get him to lower them for you, since WC individuals are not guaranteed to be the healthiest, I've had many WC roaches from other species be infested with Tachnid flies or vectors for entomophagus fungi!

IDK, just my thoughts on the matter, good luck with the import! Are these going to be M.rhinoceros?

Yes they are M. rhinoceros, I feel the pair is a fair price especially sence they are adults and the female could be gravid already, the nymphs may be a little high in price but if you look around I beleave I'm the only one selling them as of now, I know Orin sometimes has some for sale but I should be able to keep these in stock year round. Also I will make sure the roaches are as healthy as possible and eating well before I ship them out, also my next import I may be able to get 5 or so species of very exotic roaches, 3 or so species have never made it to the US. So that's very exciting @Hisserdude

The adult price is pretty fair, I was really only talking about the nymphs, and yeah, you are the only person offering any for sale currently in the US.

Cool, who's your supplier, Todd Patterson? Importing from Aussie is REALLY difficult, glad to see people are starting to import more species from there!

I'd rather not disclose my seller at this time, for business reasons right now, sorry it may sound a bit selfish @Hisserdude
No no, I understand, you are trying to start a business after all, not necessarily a good idea to give away information on your suppliers, was just curious is all. :)

I have payment plans avalable, I'd prefer the whole cost to be paid in 6 months or less, I will get a species list put up hear probably tomarrow

Thank you for understanding @Hisserdude All I will say is it's not the seller you mentioned
Good to know!

Just wondering, is this gonna be like a limited time deal, or will you be importing consistently? I may be interested in some of these species, but am in the process of moving and short on cash, so I probably won't be able to get any new invertebrates for another month or so.

Hopefully I can have these imported year round @Hisserdude I will probably buy like 3 pairs a month and each month set a pair aside for me to breed and sell the other 2 pairs, which will pay for the pair I set aside, so once I get like 10 pairs or so set aside for me I could produce tons of nymphs so nymph prices will drop drastically, but the prices for nymphs will have 2 stay the same for now, I'll make you guys wait till tomarrow before I put up the new species of roaches I will import  :P

That's great, the market value for M.rhinoceros will probably plummet soon then lol, not that I'm complaining!!  (By soon I mean a couple years probably). Well I wish you luck with this import, I know they have ridiculously strict importing and exporting laws over there, can't wait for some new Aussie species to enter the hobby soon!

@Hisserdude my UK supplier will handle all the paperwork with Australia, I know he's done it before, and because he has his hunters go collect them in the outback these will be fresh bloodlines in the hobby, I also am getting a immature pair or rhinos from Orin so I will eventually offer some US 2000 stock as well if anyone is interested in those blood lines, but that could be a year or 2, I may bed able to get some new millipede species in the hobby as well, I'm hoping to start producing rhino nymphs next year so prices could go down even next year, I'd love to produce a lot to get the prices down to like 40 or 50 my main goal is to get exotic species in the hobby, and not try and hoard them. That will also be the main focus of my website, this is a list of some species I should have avalable that no one else will have if anyone is reading this

•Burmese beauty millipede, adults

•European pillapedes

•preditory katydids

•a few more millipedes I forget there names

•oak stag beetles

•at least one new scorp species from Australia

•as of now I may be able to get up to 5 new roach species in the hobby, it will take time to establish cultures

•a unidentifed millipede from Grease, first time in the US, I don't think they and sold to much in the U.K. Or Europe, and my supplier may be the only one to have these, although they don't sound to exciting, I think they are mostly brown, I'm not sure on size yet.

Will Aussie isopods, tarantulas and centipedes be on your list as well?  As Hisserdude already mentioned the export/import laws in Australia have been very strict since the early 1970's!  It would be great to actually see some legally exported animals from Australia.

As of right now all I can get from Australia is rhinos and one species of scorpion, he told me once I start marking larger imports he will include freebies so he might be able to get some paper work for other species as well, I can import scolopendra sp mint legs for $400 if you want it is a bit pricey but they are very rare in the US, if no ones interested in them I may not import them because they are expensive to import @dactylus

Awesome, that's great! :D You think eventually he can get any new species of roaches from Australia as well?

Sounds good man, I look forward to seeing your website, will be nice to get more species in this hobby and lower prices on some of them as well! :)

I asked if I could get other species of roaches other than rhinos, and he said no to it, he didn't really explain it but he has paperwork for each species he exports from there so I think that could be a problem, if I drop large amounts of catch on imports from him and offer him a ridiculous amount of money for new species it could work, but that would be next year I'll probably ask again, if I did get any other species there sale price would reflect what I paid for them so I'd expect prices to be high then rhinos, but I'd try to drop prices as soon as possible

Yeah I've heard you need different permits for each species you import, so he may only have permits for M.rhinoceros. Still, many similar looking species and genera could be exported under that name, and no one but a true cockroach enthusiast would be any the wiser... :P

True, I'll have to point that out to him
