ISO small silver springtails

Unfortunately no not yet :)  I am keeping my eyes open for them though!. I am trying to find someone that has silver springtails and zebra isopods so that I wont have to pay shipping two separate times. I know that @Athroverts was kind enough to send me a dm, he has silver springtails so if i cant find that bundle im looking for ill send him a dm.

@Allpet Roaches has both the small silvers and the zebra isopods for sale I think. :)

Alternately you can start your own colony with a bit of unsterilized or sterilized leaf litter, topsoil or organic compost* and a grocery store mushroom. I usually start them in the enclosure I want to seed. Keep an area of the soil quite moist. Add a few mushrooms - white caps and baby bella both work well. Wait 10-14 days and you'll have a booming colony. The mushrooms will break down and get mushy and gross, but that's what you want. If you notice the springtails die back, add another mushroom. I've been using this method for years now. Silver springtails are my favorite CuC for damp/humid enclosures because they never seem to get out of hand like the larger tropical ones can. Though the tropical ones do work quite well for Panchlora.

*Be certain that any wild-collected material is from an herbicide/pesticide free area.
