Cape Cod Roaches

Does anyone else buy from Cape Cod Roaches and if so, have you heard from them lately?

Back in October I bought some lovely cow-spot isopods and they arrived prompt and happy.  But then In April I ordered two types of roaches and have heard nothing, despite emailing them repeatedly (I can't find a phone number or other way to contact them).

Lol ok so good I'm not the only one that has experienced this. I ordered some centurions back in Aug of 2020 and they sent them in a timely manner and they arrived alive and well. Then, when I ordered again in March of 2021 (Dusky Caves, Red Goblins, and Gold Wing dubia), they didn't ship until like a month later and only after I pestered the hell out of them. I legit thought they were scamming me out of money as they would  NEVER responded to email. So I used their website to track down their phone number and FB page. It wasn't until I both left a voicemail and messaged them on FB that they finally shipped. They didn't even have the decency to say "We're sorry we tried to take your money and not send you anything then ignore your questions about roaches you paid for"; they just shipped the next day as I got a notification. I got the roaches alive and well but I don't trust them at all to be honest. I definitely think they would have never sent me what I ordered had I not basically forced them to respond. I mean it was weeks of continually asking them politely to send my order. I don't know what they're doing but I won't be ordering again. I would suggest doing what I did  and try calling and messaging via FB. I'd also recommend buying instead from Kyle Kandilian of Roach Crossing. He has great selection and while he takes a while to respond, he always let me know when he was shipping and if he'd be delayed. Although he isn't very active at all right now and I haven't gotten a response back about an email. He mentioned on Roach 
Crossing he was doing less roach stuff during the summer so that's why. I find the best way to buy nowadays is to look in the classifieds on here.

I usually don't care to write reviews as I rarely experience very poor service, but this Cape Cod experience was awful and I was so hurt because they were fine literally a half a year before. I hope you get your roach babies eventually. Lemme see if I can find their business number for you so you can call. I'll PM you the number and FB page link.

Yeah let us know because I had a similar experience of them not giving me my stuff that caused me not to buy in the future. I kinda just buy of Roach Crossing and the classifieds here now.

yeah, I JUST ordered some Gyna centurios and I really wish I did research on them first (the company, not the roaches). I really, really hope I get them. fingers crossed!😣

I hope so too. I had a great first experience but the second was really bad and they didn't handle it well. All I would have liked was an explanation of why they never contacted me. Unfortunately, I probably won't order again. If it was COVID all they had to do was say that. My G. centurio got to me alright from them. If I still have enough nymphs, I'd be happy to just give you some. I'll have to check when I move them to another bin.

My second order from them was really late and they never sent an email saying why after repeated questions to them. That's honestly all I wanted was my roaches and maybe an apology email. Odd since my first order went amazing.

I agree, If there was a legitimate issue or explanation, I and I am sure everyone else would be a lot more understanding with an apology and reason versus no response. I hope at least they issue out an email of apology with an explanation plus a resolution.  Not sure if that will ever happen, but I guess I will keep everyone updated if I get my order or not. If I do not get a shipping confirmation by the end of this week (I placed the order July 1st), I guess then I will start trying to contact them. Also, thank you @RenOfTheRoaches for offering some of your nymphs if you have enough. That`s really kind of you🙂

 
Okay, to give an update. Currently I still have no notification saying that they have shipped, and according to their website It should have shipped by now. I`m starting to get worried and am not sure what I should do. I guess start with an Email? Anyways, I really hope they don`t take absolutely forever to ship out. :(

I am happy to say that earlier today I got a shipping notification saying that my order has shipped. however, it should not have taken this long without an explanation.
