Identification? Pregnant? Safe? Humane?

Hello,

1. Can you please help me identify this species?
2. Is it Pregnant / Gravid?
3. What should I do with it?
4. Would letting it suffocate be inhumane?
5. Do roaches experience physical pain?  
6. Do roaches experience emotional pain?
7. Can this roach hurt me?  

I see cockroaches (I think they are "waterbugs" / oriental cockroaches) in my bathroom every so often at night. Tonight I saw one and I think it is pregnant / gravid. I caught this one. Location is southern east coast, USA.

I usually catch them and release them outside or leave them be. What should I do with this one?

2. Is it Pregnant / Gravid? It is an egg laying species, but it is a female so maybe.
3. What should I do with it? Keep it as a pet?
4. Would letting it suffocate be inhumane? Of course it would be inhumane, but it is not a human.
5. Do roaches experience physical pain? Yes.
6. Do roaches experience emotional pain? They have social structures so yes.
7. Can this roach hurt me?  No.
