Trying to work up the courage to let my vet euthanize him. She offered and said she's had to do it with arachnids before.

Sure it's blunt but there is no sugar coating that. It just seems like something that isn't natural. Legs shouldn't be frozen stiff unable to move. I'd have to break them to make it move. One time my vet told me that "old age is not a disease." It's the ailments that that do it whether it be bodily harm, cancer, or organ failure. Amazing vet, sadly she moved to be a vet at a zoo. I prefer knowing what's happening to my loved ones. Sadly, I don't always get that.
