I found one of these the other day and I'm keeping it in moist conditions similar to a tarantula. Last year I almost bred them.

Any one else have experience with these guys?

**Note, I learned the name as cell spider, but apparently another more common name is the woodlouse killer.**

A couple of years ago I had one that I kept for almost six months on peat moss (conditions that wee similar to keeping 'slings) . I never have tried to breed them though. They are neat little creatures though.

Those big fangs are awfully intimidating. :o

If I get any babies, they'll be up for sale of course. :P

The species I continue to find has males reaching about 3/4 inch long with their legs condensed and females at about 1 inch.

Those are more commonly referred to as Woodlouse Hunters (woodlouse is a British term for pill or sow bugs...isopods).

Just caught a male today! Any one bred these? Do the parents care for their offspring?
