Hi All!
I am currently considering adopting a couple male hissing cockroaches from a my colleges animal behavior lab. I am a complete newbie when it comes to taking care of these guys, so I am looking for any and all advice I can get! My main question is about housing them together. I know males can be quite territorial to each other (was curious if this is still the case without a female present), and I wanted to know if I should adopt two or one. I don't want to put them under any extra stress being housed with another male, but I also understand they live in colonies. I wouldn't want to isolate them or create any behavioral issues. The only cockroaches this lab has are males, so housing females together is not an option.
Thank you!
