    I kidnapped a roach and I think she’s sad

Not true, there are Diurnal species like Pseudoglomeris magnifica, Rochaina spp., Eucorydia spp., etc., several of which are pollinators.

Where do you buy bark, botanicals and other goods?

I can second @KingCampy as a good bark source! :)

    Hi folks

    Welcome to the forum! :)

Whats going on with my hisser?

May be a partial prolapse, or part of her ootheca got stuck and dried out before she could retract it. Either way, nothing to be done about it, any attempts to remove the extruded material will certainly harm the female. Best to leave her be and hope the issues resolves itself eventually.

New micro roaches. Nocticola vagus and Compsodes schwarzi. Favorite foods?

I used to offer them fruits and veg consistently, hence how I noticed they weren't eating much of them.

Lower quality dog food is best since it tends to have more grain content. 👍 Other than that nothing special to note.

Strange peppered roach head marking on new female

Sometimes they just don't fold their wings properly when molting, and they get stuck that way. Often happens if they're disturbed during the molting process.

    Hatching Archiblatta oothecas

You and me both. Been wanting these for years, but every attempt I've made to get them has ended in failure. 😭 At this point forget breeding them, I just wanna see a live adult before I die. 🥲

    Hatching Archiblatta oothecas

Fingers crossed, I hope they hatch! That's great, so glad to hear it! 😄

    Hatching Archiblatta oothecas

It seems this is a highland species that wants temps no higher than 23-25C° for incubating their oothecae. So I think you have them too warm. They are also sensitive to excessive moisture as oothecae, and prefer very high air humidity, but low surface moisture.
