    Volvox now a plant?

This doesn't relate to arthropods, but I read on wikipedia that volvox belongs to the kingdom plantae. I always thought that it belonged to kingdom protista. Is this right? Here is the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvox_aureus I actually went on multiple websites that claimed it was a...

    Roaches for an 18x18x12

I can't decide what species of roach to put in an exo terra 18x18x12. The species would have to be a non-climbing species and not from the gyna genus (already have a naturalistic cage for them). This is a smaller cage, so I am not sure what to put in it.

What does the stem -ptera mean

Housing climbing roaches in Exo-terra terrariums

Has anyone tried housing climbing roaches in exo-terra terrariums? I think climbing species that the nymphs can't climb would be fine, but I am not sure about both nymph and adult being able to climb.

    Blaberus giganteus enclosure concern

What would be a good size exo terra terrarium for Blaberus giganteus? I currently have an empty 18x18x24. I read that they grow slow, so would the cage get crowded fast? I plan on getting a starter colony of 6. By the way, would B. fusca be fine too (for that size terrarium).

    Roach suggestions for an enclosure

I recently set up a terrarium with live plants that measures 18x 18x 12, but couldn't decide what kind of roach to put in it. I was leaning more to a roach from the blaberus genus. The roach species would have to not reproduce very fast (Blaberus discoidalis), since the terrarium is not very...
