MOISTURE FOR ROACHS

What are you guys using for moisture for your roaches ? I'm starting to like potatos because they dont get moldy and retain moisture even though seem to be dry on the outside....I've noticed my lobsters are burrowing inside the potatoes wedges..I use apple cutter to cut wedge pieces.. Suggestions or opinions ?
