the pictures kind are crappy so you can't relaly tell how many roaches are in there. best i could do with a verbal description is to say that the surface area of the space between the cork barks is usually 50-70% full. . sub is mix of of coir, peat, perlite, and leafs. kept damp. soil will just about keep its shape when squeezed. housed with t tomentosa.

any advice or comments are apprecieated specifically but not limited to is this a big enough tank for them and what do you feed yours ?

I've heard some people say that perlite has harmed roaches that have ate it. I tried used potting soil that had a perlite component last year when many hobbyists were touting potting soil. I personally haven't noticed any uptick in deaths from colonies kept with perlite containing potting soil. Just something to be on the lookout for I suppose.
I feed Archimandrita (and practically everything) apples and dog food or fish flakes.

ive never really had any trouble with perlite **that i know of*** i do have several of my moisture loving species on perlite and many off them don't produced nearly the numbers i would expect so that is entirely possible
