Any one try tea leaves?

My wife works at a tea house so I have access to used whole leave tea. My question is does caffine have adverse effects. For instance if I used a cup or two a day in my big colonys. Would they eat it dry in the case of pepper roaches that like leaves? Also I tried to search the forum for the word tea but it says you cant search words less then 4 letters.

I give mine coffee grounds sometimes. So, if coffee grounds are fine I can't see tea leaves being an issue.

Mine dubia don't seem to like coffee grounds, but it doesn't seem to hurt them. Makes their enclosure smell a bit bettter too... I'm more concerned with pH changes due to coffee than the caffeine...

Yeah as far as I can tell it seems most animals dont like to eat them in mass except earthworms. I guess if coffee doesnt hurt them its silly to worry about tea. Lol
