Same name here, ATS, SFBATS, SCABIES, and I can't remember if I signed up anywhere else!

I must say that of all those I like this site the best when it comes to the people and for many other reasons. I often wish things would pick up though (for other members coming here from AB you know what I mean) We need to spread this hobby like a disease as a lot of people don't know what they are missing! (I didn't!)

I've got and arachno acc. but I never post. This is the only forum I post on regularly and some times the rearfang venomous forum over at kingsnake.com.

I 'joined' Allpet Roaches boards in 1999 and signed up for AB in 2002? right after started, well before the PB traffic switch. I notice AB will be down for a few days for maintenance. It surprises me that this forum (or any other invert forum) does not pick up short term when AB is down. Everybody just waits.

 
Each forum is species specific even if it covers all species in subforums. I go to the Roach forum for roach discussions not for tarantulas. I go to Scorpion forum for scorpion discussions not reptiles. It doesnt surprise me at all that theres no pick up in talks on other forums when AB is down. Kim

I would only expect pick up here for those people who are already members of both forums, tarantula enthusiasts aren't going to run over to talk about roaches. However, even the other tarantula forums don't pick up on the off days.
