Are polyphagids good beginer roaches?

Are these easy to keep/breed? I hear that they take a looooong time to mature, but I can deal with that. Do they like it dry or moist? Thanks in advance!

I never got mine to reproduce successfully, but that was a while ago. That's the only experience I can share.
