RenOfTheRoaches
Third Instar
I genuinely am curious because I love my roach babies and they constantly do things I find adorable. List as many moments in your response as you want. I wanna hear your blatta tales. My personal favorite adorbz moments of my roaches are as follows!
1. What I call windshield wipers - This happens with all my roaches on rare occasions but most often with my hissers (Which I assume is because they are ultra comfortable with me and don't run upon opening their enclosure). So this is when my roach babies move their little antennae back in forth simultaneously (Like a car's wiper blades). I remember the first time I saw it and I was like EEEEE ADORB.
2. My two Halloween Hissers Sypha and Trevor Cuddling (For all you Castlevania Fans out there) - These two lovely roaches have sadly since passed away of age but they were kept together their whole time with me and really got along well. They REALLY enjoyed each other's company, much more than I have seen any roach pair I've raised in the past. They would commonly sit with their heads pressed against each other for hours and it was ultra cute. After Sypha passed, Trevor kinda seemed less energetic and interacted much less with the second female I put in there.
3. My Eublaberus serranus letting me hand feed them - These little dudes are so food trainable and they routinely poke their teeny heads and antennae out of the substrate when it's food time. They will often let me feed them by hand and it's pretty cute.
So what's YOUR cute roach story? Tell me your tales! Come on, let's get the thread going here!
